There was barely time to catch our breath. Straight after Formula Student Czech, UGent Racing packed up Callisto and headed to Austria. Our next destination was Spielberg, home of the legendary Red Bull Ring. After Callisto’s first international competition, it was time for the second challenge of the summer. And Formula Student Austria would push both car and team to their limits.

The competition started with some serious challenges. Technical issues meant that Callisto spent more time in the pits than we would have liked. But if there is one thing that defines UGent Racing, it is the team's determination to keep going. While the track fell quiet, our workshop didn't.

Long nights. Endless troubleshooting. Countless adjustments. One goal: get Callisto back on track. And eventually, we did. Once Callisto returned to the circuit, she showed exactly why we never stopped believing in her. Despite the setbacks, our car competed in every single dynamic event of the competition.

Acceleration. Skidpad. Autocross. Endurance.

Four events. One car. A huge amount of teamwork. And then came a moment we will not forget.

During Acceleration, Callisto crossed the line in just 4.272 seconds. That wasn't just a fast run.

It was the quickest acceleration run in UGent Racing history.

Seeing Callisto launch down the track at the Red Bull Ring was the perfect reward for all the hours spent designing, building, testing and repairing her. Austria showed us that competition isn't only about having a fast car. It is about resilience. It is about solving problems when things don't go according to plan. And above all, it is about a team that refuses to give up. From the workshop to the Red Bull Ring, every challenge made us stronger.

And with one competition left, we were ready for the final chapter of our summer.
