The Final Challenge: FSGermany

After two intense competitions in Czech Republic and Austria, there was one final challenge waiting for UGent Racing. Formula Student Germany.

Known as one of the most competitive and demanding events on the Formula Student calendar, FSGermany would bring our competition summer to its grand finale. The destination: the legendary Hockenheimring.

By now, Callisto had already experienced her first international laps in FSCzech and had set a new UGent Racing acceleration record at the Red Bull Ring. But Hockenheim had something special waiting for us. As always, the first goal was to get through technical inspection. And once again, Callisto passed and earned her place on the racetrack. Then it was time to race.

But the most memorable moment of our FSGermany adventure came late at night. Under the lights of Hockenheim, Callisto took on the unique nighttime Skidpad. Racing at night is an experience unlike any other. The track, the lights, the sound of the car and the atmosphere around the circuit all came together to create one of the most unforgettable moments of our entire season.

After months of designing and manufacturing, countless hours of testing and three demanding competitions, Callisto was finally racing under the lights at Hockenheim. From her first competitive laps in FSCzech, to a new UGent Racing acceleration benchmark at the FSAustria, and finally to racing under the lights in Germany, this competition summer showed just how far Callisto and the entire team had come.

It wasn't always easy. There were technical challenges, long nights and moments when things didn't go according to plan. But every challenge taught us something new. And behind every lap stood a team that kept pushing. A team that believed in the car. A team that believed in each other. A team that refused to give up.

FSGermany brought our competition summer to an end, but it also marked the beginning of something new. Because Callisto isn't just the result of months of engineering. She is the result of teamwork, perseverance and the drive to keep pushing forward.

And this summer, we proved exactly what UGent Racing is capable of.
